Hi Tamara,

thank you so much!

I've got my ginger-starter bubbling on the counter so I think I'm finished with stage 1.

Now I'm figuring out my first wart. I'd like to do a fruity beverage. I need a bit of clarification. You wrote, "You could cut the ginger wort in half and add 4 cups of ginger wort to 12 cups peach juice, ¼ cup lemon juice with 1 cup starter for a fruit beverage." So, I've made the starter, right? but what are you referring to as the "ginger wort"? And cut in half with what? Help! I'm missing something.

BTW, could I do this with grape juice too? Or pureed strawberries I just got at the farmers' market? would I need to add sugar or agave?

thanks,
Dana
